>As Kou wrapped his arms around him, pulling him close, the reassurance he was sending got through to Kanji. He felt his body relax completely, enjoying the way Kou’s warm body felt against him.

C-Come on, ya’ know I don’t mean it like that! H-Hey! What are ya’ doin’?!

>Tingles shot around Kanji’s back as he felt Kou rub his cheek against his back; skin incredibly soft. Turing his body around in Kou’s arms, Kanji frowned embarrassingly down at him.

S-Stop that! It feels weird…

>Kou softly exhaled, knowing that his breath made contact on the other’s skin. He had no reason to worry and was absolutely calm. Kou felt at home. This is what felt right to him. To have Kanji in his arms, Kou would give the world to be like this. He couldn’t hide a huge smile that crept up on his lips.

I know. I know… I’m just messin’ with you, big guy. No need to get all wound up.

>He felt Kanji squirm on him and instinctively tightened his grip around the other boy. Kou decided that he would obey Kanji’s wishes this time and stopped. He let out a breathy laugh.

Okay… You win this time, birthday boy. Only because you asked so nicely.

>Kanji shuddered as he felt Kou’s warm breath wash over his skin, sending goose skin along the area. He felt Kou’s arms tighten around him, making his heart beat faster. Kou didn’t seem to mind that Kanji was half naked, so maybe he should relax as well. However, as he looked down at Kou; a large grin on his face, it was hard for him to begin relaxing.

… Um… Y-ya’… Uh…

>Feeling his face heat up, Kanji wrapped his arms around Kou’s smaller frame and plant his head on top of his, using this to hide his face. As flustered as he was, Kanji really didn’t want Kou to stop. He would never admit this, though. 

Nevermind…

>What kind of effect did Kou have on him, exactly? Sure, he made him incredibly flustered, but Kanji didn’t mind that it was through him. Repeating that question in his mind, Kanji found he didn’t have an answer.
